Welcome to “Urban Utopia: Building Cities of the Future!” a summer camp where creativity and imagination come alive through a play-and-project-based, fun LEGO® city-building adventure! Our Young Builders and Young Leaders collaborate to build their dream cities, exploring concepts like sustainable architecture, transportation, green spaces, and more – all within a highly immersive and engaging LEGO® universe.
Campers role-playing as city leaders develop 21st century skills, such as critical thinking, problem solving, SEL, and leadership, while they tackle real-world civic challenges, natural disasters, and economic constraints. Whether they are solving a crisis, designing a futuristic transit system, or an eco-friendly skyscraper, campers will be encouraged to blend creativity and engineering principles, dream big, and create sustainable cities of tomorrow!
Young Builders: Ages 6-8: Play, Build, and Dream
In a highly engaging, play-based camp experience, the Young Builders bring their fun, creative city-building ideas to life. Our young city architects and builders work in small teams to build their dream cities through imagination and play, while interacting with their peers and LEGO’ing to their heart’s content. Whether they’re building a green park or a rainbow bridge, this camp encourages young minds to dream big and have fun while creating the cities of their imagination!
Young Leaders: Ages 8-11: Solve, Create, and Innovate
For the older campers, Kidizens provides a project-based, highly immersive experience that challenges them to build and lead futuristic cities, focusing on innovation and sustainability. Collaborating in teams, campers address the needs of their LEGO® citizens, tackle real-world problems and budget constraints, while honing their creativity, critical thinking and leadership skills.
